Um, whose spatula is this?

Hey CPSCers,

So, someone left a spatula at our house at the last gathering of the CPSC. We enjoyed it for a few days, but after a while it went missing. A few weeks later we started to receive photos and letters from the spatula herself. Here's what she's been saying:

Letter 1

Dearest Karen & Joshua,

By now you will have known that my stay at your apartment would be short-lived. Thank you for your hospitality and for keeping me clean, but I could not stay forever. At first I set out to find my rightful owners, but alas, I took a wrong turn on Clark and decided to keep heading south.

Spatula at the Alamo

Once I hit the Texas state line, I knew I had gone too far. But being the fun lovin' kind of spatula I am, I threw on my boot, got a hat and headed to the Alamo. I've wanted to hit the Alamo ever since I was a kid - one of my favorite movies was shot there.

Again, thanks for your hospitality. Let me know if my owners are looking for me and I'll come home.

Sincerely,

Spatula

Letter 2

Bonjour!

Je suis arrivé à Paris! Saviez-vous que je parle français? C'est vrai!

You may be surprised to learn that I was actually born here in France! It feels so good to be home, and so different from Texas! The cuisine est phénoménal, and I even flipped a few crepes for old times sake.

Spatula in Paris

I'll be hanging at the Louvre, but I haven't heard from you so I'm assuming I'm safe to keep traveling the world. If my owners ask for me, tell them I've been sitting idle by the stove.

À bientôt!

Spatula

And finally, Letter 3

Aloha Josh and Karen!

It only took a few days for me to tire of French life. I now remember why I came to Les Etats Unis. I'm meant for burgers and pancakes, after all. On my way home I took a stop in Maui, where you can see me lounging on my private beach:

I'm loving life over here, and should be back on the mainland soon enough. Just keep my owners distracted if they inquire about my whereabouts. Cool?

Mahalo,

Spatula

So, um, whose spatula is this?

As soon as someone claims her, we'll tell her to come home. Oh - and whose turn is it to host? :-)

Eric, Jess and I are in a play!

Just to spam out some of the particulars :)
The 3 of us are in a play this weekend. It's a Monty Python version of the Canterbury Tales. It's community theater :) , but I think you might get some good laughs in for $8.
It's Friday and Saturday (Feb 18/19) at 7:30PM. And Sunday Feb 20 at 2:30PM.
At St. Mary of the Woods Church. 7033 N. Moselle.
$8 for adults, and $4 for students. And we'd totally get tickets for this crew, but they won't give us any free tickets :(
